Who is providing this Gemstone and Jewelry Internship, Navneet Gems and Minerals is a family-run business that has been a leader in the Wholesale Gemstone Market Worldwide since opening the office nearly 20 years ago here in the Gems hub of Asia, Bangkok. To see some of our Gemstone work see here.

Here is your chance to work and learn under seasoned professionals including the owner who has worked in the industry all his life and his son Navneet who is a GIA-trained Gemologist and expert at online marketing, and other happy, friendly local employees. At Navneet Gems and Minerals in Bangkok, this is a four-month minimum marketing internship program doing online marketing with the potential to earn an entry-level work position. Summer Jewelry internship is also available for 2017 and will be based in Bangkok.

Responsibilities

You will learn about the industry, the precious and semi-precious gemstones sold here, and market them and the business online. Gemstones marketed in this summer internship in Bangkok include gemstones such as Diamonds, Emerald, Rubies, Sapphires, Blue Topaz’, Ambers, Citrines, Amethysts, Aquamarines, Opals, Moonstones, and more, and to nearly every corner of the world where our clients reside. Also, you will learn the Photography of Gemstones, Videography of Gemstones, Social Media and Online Marketing, Content Marketing, Gemstone Press Release (SEO SMO and more).

The intern will play an active role in the development of our online community in this English-speaking Gems and Jewelry Internship program 2017, but you also will have hands-on experience for shipping and for the photography of gems. You will maintain our presence on various social media platforms and help create and publish content that is relevant to our customer base. He or she will regularly create & publish content and post on Facebook, Instagram, Google+, & Pinterest accounts, upload videos to our Navneet Gems  YouTube Channel and add content to the website, etc, Updates social media accounts with current and relevant photos, video, or other content from activities and events. and increase fan-base and interactions. Responds to emails, chats, posts, or comments to bring value to user’s interactions, Posts post and announcements in a timely manner using appropriate content. Learn and use Alibaba for our product sales and to answer any requests and bid on Requests For Quotes.

* Knowledge of high-end jewelry designers, trends, bargains, current blogs & websites,
* Background in jewelry or gems (school, volunteer work, or work experience)
* Well versed with social media and marketing
* Current College student or recent graduate
* Possess a fun, outgoing, youthful & welcoming personality.
* Extremely detail-oriented and have good time management skills
